Hi, I’m Rowell. I work full-time as a Software Developer for Answer Digital Ltd. and a part-time wanderer. My recent big trip was to Peru, and the main highlight was hiking the Salkantay Pass to Machu Picchu.

I’m also a keen hill walker and on weekends I could usually be found on the hills of the Peak District — weather permitting. However, I have been known to hike in non-ideal weather.

Software Development

I have always been interested in front-end web development; to me, front-end could make or break a website/application. Since graduating, I have been working more on the whole stack and have since come to enjoy writing backend code!

Photography

Photography is a relatively recent hobby. It wasn’t until I got my Sony a6000 back in 2017 that I started to consistently take photos when travelling.

Unfortunately, I have a habit of taking photos and not having time to process them after and many are left as unprocessed RAW files. When I do get a chance to process photos, they usually end up on Instagram or Unsplash.
